Huddersfield Town’s Under-19 side travel to Scunthorpe United in the EFL Youth Alliance League

- Huddersfield Town Under-19s in action on Saturday
- Young Terriers travel to Scunthorpe United in the Youth Alliance League
- Supporters can attend the 11am kick-off for free

Huddersfield Town’s Under-19 side is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Harrogate Town in the EFL Youth Alliance League.

The Young Terriers, led by Coach George Danaher, are back after the Christmas break and will play Scunthorpe United in an 11am kick-off on Saturday 7 January, with the game taking place at Appleby Frodingham FC (Centenary Way, Scunthorpe, DN16 1AA).

Having played the Irons twice already this season at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex and narrowly lost both fixtures, our Terriers will be looking to return the favour and start off the year with a win.

Scunthorpe come into this game after winning their last three EFL Youth Alliance League fixtures before Christmas, meaning they have moved up to seventh in the table, just four points behind our youngsters.

You can make the trip to Scunthorpe to watch the future Terriers play for free if you can’t make it to our First Team’s Emirates FA Cup third round fixture against Preston North End.

The game is the latest in the EFL Youth Alliance League season, with our Young Terriers currently sitting fourth from 11 teams in the regional division following their latest league win against Harrogate Town on Saturday 3 December 2022.

If you can’t make Academy games but you’re interested in what’s happening with the Young Terriers, you can follow them on social media!
