Huddersfield Town’s B Team defender David Adewoju has joined National League North side Bradford (Park Avenue), while teammate Donay O’Brien-Brady has joined Northern Premier League side Hyde United on loan.
David Adewoju, 19, will play for Mark Bower’s side at Bradford (Park Avenue), who play in the National League North, until 11 February 2023.
This is the second loan spell for our young defender, who joined our Academy from QPR in the summer of 2020. He previously spent time with Ossett United in the Northern Premier League in October 2021.
Donay O’Brien-Brady, 18, will play for David McGurk’s side at Hyde United in the Northern Premier League, until 11 February 2023.
This is O’Brien-Brady’s first time on loan since he joined our Academy in 2020. Our young midfielder will use this loan to gain some senior experience and play regular football.
Huddersfield Town’s Loan Manager, David Fox, commented:
“David has spent a lot of time working with our Academy coaches to improve his game and has had a lot of game time with our B Team, now it’s time to test himself against senior opposition. The chance to do so at such a competitive level is perfect, so thank you to Bradford (Park Avenue) for their interest.
“We’ll watch David closely during his time at the Horsfall Stadium – we want him to go there and show exactly what he is capable of.
“Hyde United is a great place for Donay to experience his first loan move and a chance for him to see what senior football entails.
“This loan move is a great step for him in his development as a footballer and really gives him a chance to show what he can do.”
