Huddersfield Town goalkeeper returns from loan with Scottish Premiership side Hibs
- Ryan Schofield returns to Huddersfield Town from loan
- Goalkeeper spent first half of the season with Hibernian
- 23-year-old has 35 Town appearances to his name
Ryan Schofield has been recalled from his loan with Hibernian, having spent the first half of the 2022/23 season with the Scottish Premiership side after joining in August 2022.
Deputy to experienced Scottish international David Marshall for Hibs, Schofield was named on the bench 16 times in all competitions during his stay in Edinburgh without making a competitive appearance.
First choice for Town in the 2020/21 season, the Town Academy graduate spent much of the 2021/22 season out injured. Still just 23-years-old, he won the Toulon Tournament with England’s U20 side, saving a penalty in a shoot-out in the final victory over the Côte d'Ivoire.
Welcome back, Ryan!
