- Comments from Loan Manager David Fox

We can confirm that B Team left back Jaheim Headley has today been recalled from his loan with Harrogate Town in League Two.

Having excelled for the North Yorkshire side, the left back returns to the Club having played 25 times from Simon Weaver’s team across Sky Bet League Two, Emirates FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Papa John's Trophy, with two goals and two assists to his name across all competitions in that time.

A standout in his time with Harrogate Town, the young defender has been named in the Sky Bet League Two Team of the Week on numerous occasions and will return to the Club to further his progression following a positive experience on loan.

Commenting on the move, Loan Manager David Fox said:

“We’re extremely pleased with how Jaheim has applied himself and improved while with Harrogate Town in League Two, and this recall is testament to the progression in his game.

“As we’ve said in the past, Harrogate Town are a team we know well, so there was always a confidence that he was going into the right kind of environment to help encourage progression.

“Playing at that level isn’t easy for a young player, which is why we like to test them with loans like these, but Jaheim has passed every test thrown at him with flying colours.

“We have always known that he possesses real ability, but to translate that into consistent performances in competitive fixtures and bring real end product to the team is no small thing.

“With that in mind, we feel that this is the right time to bring Jaheim back with us at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex and build on that experience within our training programme so that he can capitalise on what has been a fantastic first half of the 2022/23 season for him.”
