Huddersfield Town Head Coach Mark Fotheringham was less than pleased with the goals his side conceded against Luton Town as they suffered their first defeat in three games.

Having gone ahead through Duane Holmes midway through the first half after dominating the exchanges, the Terriers were pegged back right on the stroke of half-time and then conceded a second late on with the game well balanced.

Speaking to HTTV at full-time our Head Coach said:

“To go ahead in the game, especially against an opposition like Luton, you’ve got to up your levels of concentration and the goal we lost just before half-time was unacceptable, especially in that period of the game – we’ve made that clear to the lads.

“There’s been a lot of positives over the last three games, but that was definitely a negative in the respect that we’ve conceded two goals and we should’ve done a lot better for both of them.

“We still have a lot of work to do and that’s why I’ve been saying that we can’t get ahead of ourselves, because we know that it’s a really tough league.

“With the volume of games we have coming thick and fast it can come back and bite you in the backside, so you have to be super focused.”
