Huddersfield Town is giving young teenagers the chance to develop their football skills whilst also continuing their studies.

The Elite Football Development Programme is designed for boys who are currently in Year 11 and will move to college/sixth forms in September 2023.

The course is looking for applications from those who have the potential to become elite footballers.

The perfect bridge between grassroots and professional academy football for any young footballer, the course has been created alongside Kirklees College, giving the option of pursuing their academic studies.

Prospective students must be on target to gain Grade Four in English and Maths to access this Level Three course, with participants training twice a week and playing competitive fixtures. The course open to those who have the potential to play at an elite level and who want to develop a career in the football industry.

Including eligibility for future higher education, the course will run alongside regular training at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex that will enhance teaching around strength, conditioning, match analysis and more.

Applications are open now. Trials will take place from March 2023 at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex. The date and time will be sent to successful applicants.
