Huddersfield Town’s B Team are back on the road this weekend for the first time since the Christmas break, as they travel to St George’s Park to play Brentford on Saturday 21 January; 2pm kick-off.
The Young Terriers are set to travel to play Brentford in a friendly for their first away game of the New Year on Saturday 21 January at 2pm, with the game taking place at St George’s Park.
The first away game of the calendar year for our youngsters as they travel to take on Brentford’s B Team, the team they were close to playing in the next round of the Premier League Cup – instead we are preparing to play Blackburn Rovers at the John Smith’s Stadium and information about this fixture will come at a later date.
Jon Worthington’s side will be looking to use this friendly in order to further their preparations for the knockout stage of the Premier League Cup, as well as bounce back from their recent loss against Lincoln City on Tuesday 17 January.
Brentford come into this game unbeaten in their last six games and will be looking to continue that run and extend it - also means they are yet to lose a game in 2023.
Since this game is behind-closed-doors, supporters will not be able to attend the 2pm kick-off on Saturday.
