Huddersfield Town Manager Neil Warnock spoke to HTTV at full-time having seen his side beaten comfortably by top of the table Burnley at Turf Moor.
Admitting that the home side were too good for his Terriers on the day, our Manager admitted that Burnley are the best Sky Bet Championship side he’s seen in over 20 years, saying:
“I don’t think I’ve seen a better side at this level in 25 years.
“I’m disappointed with the goals, they were poor. We lost Ruffels this morning to a bug at 10 o’clock this morning which changed everything, so we had to change things around.
“The movement caught us out and they were too good for us in that first half.”
Going on to touch on some positives, including some individual players that stood out to him, the Manager chose to look to the future, commenting:
“There are no other Burnley’s in this league.
“The fans never got on our backs and clapped us at the end, so we’ve got to repay them now.
“I thought there were some plusses today.
“We’ve got 13 games now and we’ve got to try now in every one of them.”
