Three January signings make their first Town starts!

- Huddersfield Town side selected to face QPR
- Head Coach Mark Fotheringham makes five changes
- Three players make their first starts for the Terriers

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Mark Fotheringham has made five changes to the starting line-up for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship game against Queens Park Rangers; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Amid the five changes, there are three players making their first Town starts – all January recruits.

The first is Czech Republic international Tomáš Vaclík, who comes straight into the team following his midweek move from Greek Super League side Olympiacos. The goalkeeper replaces Nicholas Bilokapic, who is on the bench today.

Having done well on his debut as a substitute at Coventry City last weekend, Watford loanee Joe Hungbo also starts today. The 23-year-old takes Duane Holmes’ place, who is not involved today due to a calf problem.

Martyn Waghorn also makes his first Town start today, following on from his debut at Hull City. The experienced forward replaces Jordan Rhodes in the line-up, who is a sub.

Our fourth change sees Ollie Turton complete his return from the ankle injury he sustained in our home win over Millwall back in October. With the former Blackpool man starting, Josh Ruffels drops out of the match day squad.

The final change sees David Kasumu return to the starting side, with Matty Pearson switching to become a substitute.

There are two new faces among the substitutes this afternoon. January signing Anthony Knockaert makes his first appearance in a Town squad following his foot injury, whilst there is just a second appearance on a Sky Bet Championship team sheet for Jaheim Headley.

Fotheringham is without Lee Nicholls (shoulder), Tino Anjorin (ankle), Kieran Phillips (hamstring), Duane Holmes (calf), Danny Ward (hamstring), Ben Jackson (quad), and Yuta Nakayama (Achilles).
