Supporters are reminded that John Smith’s Stadium is strictly no smoking
- John Smith’s Stadium is a no smoking venue
- Designated smoking areas are available to supporters
- Comments from Huddersfield Town Operations Director Ann Hough
We would like to remind all supporters that the John Smith’s Stadium is a no smoking venue, with smoking strictly prohibited on all concourses and within all seated areas of the stadium, including electronic cigarettes.
For the safety and comfort of all supporters, we have designated smoking areas available should these be required, with stewards able to offer direction.
In the interest of clarity, this extends to all electronic cigarettes and smoking devices, such as vapes.
Huddersfield Town Operations Director Ann Hough commented:
“The John Smith’s Stadium remains a no smoking venue, just as it has for a great number of years.
“However, with the rising popularity of electronic alternatives and increasing reports of their use within the stadium, we just want to remind supporters that the use of such devices is strictly prohibited in the vast majority of the stadium.
“Designated smoking areas are available and we thank the majority of supporters for their cooperation with these measures, as we of course want our home to be as welcoming an environment as possible for everybody.
“On behalf of the Club and stadium, thank you as ever for your continued understanding and cooperation.”
