Having taken the lead twice and Blackpool down to 10 men just before half-time, the Terriers dropped important points away at Bloomfield Road.
Matty Pearson scored the opening goal of the game in the 36th minute from close range, on the back of a free-kick due to Martyn Waghorn being brought down on the left hand side. The ball was kept alive in the box after Jack Rudoni’s delivery, and slotted past the ‘keeper by our centre-back.
Just before half-time, the Blackpool captain Gary Madine was shown the red card after an apparent elbow to the head of Tom Lees in an aerial challenge, and the Seasiders were down to 10 men for the rest of the game.
An action packed final 10 minutes of the games saw three goals, as Blackpool equalised through Andy Lyons, before Josh Koroma curled the ball beautifully into the back of the net to take the lead again.
As Town scrambled to finish the game on top, Josh Bowler scored Blackpool’s final goal in the 90th minute to secure the point for the hosts after a tense 10 minutes.
