TEAM NEWS: TOWN vs PRESTON NORTH END

12 December 2023

Darren Moore makes two changes to the starting Huddersfield Town side

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Preston North End
- Josh Austerfield makes his first Sky Bet Championship start
- Sorba Thomas also returns after suspension

Huddersfield Town Manager Darren Moore has made two changes to the starting line-up for this evening’s Sky Bet Championship game against Preston North End, which kicks off at 7.45pm at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Moore’s first change hands a first Sky Bet Championship start to 22-year-old Academy graduate Josh Austerfield. The midfielder, who has made five senior appearances in Town colours previously, comes in for Ben Wiles, who is a substitute tonight.

Our second switch sees Sorba Thomas come straight back into the starting line-up after serving his one match suspension at the weekend. He replaces Jaheim Headley, who is also on the bench.

With Thomas returning to the match day squad of 20, B Team midfielder Michael Stone makes way.

Josh Koroma makes the 150th start of his club career this evening.

Moore is still without Josh Ruffels (groin), Jack Rudoni (foot), Ollie Turton (knee), Kian Harratt (hamstring), Pat Jones (hamstring), Kyle Hudlin (groin), and Ben Jackson (groin).
