Club and supporters to come together to remember those we have lost in 2023

- Huddersfield Town vs Middlesbrough
- Memorial fixture an annual Club initiative
- Opportunity to remember those lost across 2023

In our final home fixture of the year, we will once again join supporters in remembering those we have said goodbye to in 2023.

With the visit of Middlesbrough on Friday 29 December our final home fixture of the year, our annual memorial will take place before kick-off at 7.45pm.

Images and messages submitted by friends, family and loved ones will be shown on our big screen at the John Smith’s Stadium during a minute of applause, as well as broadcast across social media and on YouTube, with a complete list of all those lost in our match day programme, too.

A chance to honour, celebrate the lives of and remember all those associated with the Club that have passed away, the initiative has now existed for a decade.

Supporter Services Manager Rachel Taylor commented:

“This season will mark a decade of dedicating our final home fixture of the calendar year to those we have sadly lost in the 12 months prior.

“A chance to reflect and remember, we are proud to join supporters in taking the opportunity to pause and take stock of the year that has passed.”

A wonderful communal opportunity to pay our respects, we ask that supporters take their seats in good time to reflect with us before kick-off.
