Town Manager Neil Warnock once again met with the local press in his latest press conference as he looked ahead to our Sky Bet Championship clash with Norwich City at home.
Held at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex, the Manager discussed the availability of his squad, shedding light on the progress of some of our players with shorter term injuries.
Warnock also talked about the opposition, praising the start David Wagner’s side have made to the season, while talking about his own pride in how well his side have played despite some results going against them.
In another wide-ranging press conference, he said:
“The injured lads aren’t far away.
“David Kasumu has a chance for next weekend and Tom Lees should be ok at the international break.
“We could have won every game so far, and we could have lost every game.
“We’ve played some good stuff at times, but we have to take the opportunities when we get them.
“It was nice to get the point on board at Boro.
“We looked at Norwich and David Wagner has moulded a good side. It doesn’t surprise me that they’re flying.
“This could be our most difficult game yet. I’m sure Narcís Pèlach will be telling them exactly how we work this week!
“I’m looking forward to it. We may be underdogs, but we go into every game thinking we can win it.
“I can’t ask any more of the lads.”
