Neil Warnock names unchanged Huddersfield Town starting side against Middlesbrough

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Middlesbrough
- Manager Neil Warnock selects an unchanged side
- Newest recruit Delano Burgzorg is a substitute

Huddersfield Town Manager Neil Warnock has named an unchanged starting side for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship game against Middlesbrough; 3pm kick-off at the Riverside Stadium.

The team is the same one that started last weekend’s league game against Leicester City, which means that defender Matty Pearson makes his 150th Sky Bet Championship start.

Warnock manages against one of his former clubs today – he was in charge of Boro between June 2020 and November 2021.

Club captain Jonathan Hogg was in the Academy of today’s opponents at the start of his career, having been born in the town.

There are, however, two changes among the substitutes this afternoon.

The first sees our newest recruit, forward Delano Burgzorg, named in a match day 20 for the first time since his loan move from Bundesliga side Mainz.

He is joined by Jaheim Headley, who returns from suspension to take place on the bench.

As a result, Jordan Rhodes and Josh Austerfield drop out of the squad.

Warnock is still without David Kasumu (ankle), Ollie Turton (knee), and Tom Lees (calf).
