Josh Ruffels admitted that Town weren’t good enough against Plymouth Argyle as we suffered an opening day defeat in Devon to the newly promoted side.
Having fought hard to equalise in the first half after going behind to the hosts, Town were undone in the second half by two quick fire goals after dominating the early exchanges of the second half.
Summing up the game, Ruffels admitted that the team didn’t defend well enough as a unit for both of the second half finishes, and they were worsened by Town’s own missed chances in front of goal.
