Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Huddersfield Town Foundation, Andy’s Man Club and Ruddi’s Retreat receive over £18,000 each

We are delighted to share that Pedal for Pounds 11 has raised £73,871.57 for four amazing local charities, with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Huddersfield Town Foundation, Andy’s Man Club and Ruddi’s Retreat each receiving £18,467.89!
Sponsored by Millers Oils, this iteration of our annual charity bike ride saw 85 cyclists complete the 240-mile journey from the John Smith’s Stadium to Cardiff, stopping through Lichfield and Worcester, for our Sky Bet Championship game against Cardiff City on Sunday 30 April 2023.
The P4P11 cyclists raised £53,896.23, with the rest of the funds raised coming from the sales of our charity shirts that went on sale in time for them to be worn against Norwich City on Wednesday 15 March 2023 – which amounted to £19,975.34.
As always, the ride and the shirts were in support of incredibly worthwhile local charities, with an equal share of the total amount raised being donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Huddersfield Town Foundation, Andy’s Man Club and Ruddi’s Retreat.
Commenting on the total raised, Club Ambassador Andy Booth said:
“I’m so happy that we can once again help all four local charities! Each and every one of our 85 cyclists should be incredibly proud of the huge total they’ve helped to raise.
“Also, a huge thank you to all the fans who bought the replica charity shirts this year to help increase the total!
“I want to extend our thanks to Millers Oils for their support, as well as the voluntary Support Team who help the ride go as smoothly as possible.”
