If you’re attending our first home Sky Bet Championship fixture against Leicester City on Saturday 12 August, we’ve got plenty going on outside the John Smith’s Stadium!
Here is all the information you need to plan your day at the John Smith’s Stadium this Saturday as we welcome Leicester City for our first Sky Bet Championship game at home this season.
Located opposite the Legends Bar and Café, our Community Hub is home to table football, FIFA 23 on the PlayStations, and colouring areas.
Face painting and balloon modelling is also free from the Community Hub prior to kick-off – so young supporters can stand out in the crowd and show their Terrier Spirit.
Available to Under-18s only, children must be accompanied by an adult to gain entry.
Our Fanzone will be open to supporters from 12.30pm in the car park opposite the Odeon cinema, free for fans to enter.
Huddersfield band FLAWES will be performing live from 1.45pm for an hour, helping us lead up right the way to kick-off at 3pm.
In addition to the entertainment, we will also be welcoming Burger Burger from Honley as our street food vendor for the fixture, with a covered area also in place should it be required, alongside Magic Rock.

Weather permitting, our football themed inflatables will be found out in front of the Core Stand Lower ahead of kick-off, which always prove to be popular.
Whether you want to test your power on our inflatable speed cage or try your luck at target shot games, make sure you head across early to get yourself a go!
TERRY THE TERRIER
Our official Club mascot Terry the Terrier can be located around the Community Hub before the match.
You’ll most likely find him in his giant deckchair, before making his way inside the John Smith’s Stadium by the Core Stand Lower closer to kick-off.
Feel free to go up and grab a selfie with your favourite Terrier!
OPPORTUNITY TO MEET THE PLAYERS
There may be a familiar face or two around the Community Hub to take pictures and sign autographs.
