We are delighted to confirm that Kyle Hudlin has committed his future to the Terriers, signing a contract extension with Town that keeps him in Huddersfield until at least 2026!
Having signed in the summer of 2022 from Solihull Moors, the forward immediately spent time out on loan with AFC Wimbledon before returning to the Club in January 2023 and joining up with our B Team for the remainder of the campaign.
Taking his chance in pre-season under Neil Warnock and Ronnie Jepson, he scored in each of his appearances and took that form into his first competitive game for the Club, coming off the bench to score in the Carabao Cup against Middlesbrough at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Manager Neil Warnock commented:
“Kyle has been working really hard, so we gave him a chance in pre-season down in Cornwall and Devon and he impressed us.
“All he needs to do is carry on working as hard as he possibly can and taking his chances. He’s a good lad and I’m pleased for him that he’s signed this new deal.”
Huddersfield Town Sporting Director Mark Cartwright added:
“We’re delighted to have Kyle extend his contract with the Club, and he should be really proud of how far his game has developed since joining us last year. Kevin, Jake and myself are really pleased for him.
“Taking his chance and grabbing each opportunity given to him with both hands, he’s translating a fantastic off-field attitude into matches, and that’s all you can ask for. He now needs to continue that to push into the First Team more consistently.”
Congratulations on the new contract, Kyle!
