With all three of our 2023/24 Umbro kits now released, HTTV sat down with Head of Retail Luke Cowan to discuss the reaction to all three, with each kit proving incredibly popular!
Work on each Town kit begins well in advance of launch, and with our ongoing Thrice Championship celebrations the focus of not only our kits but the Club as a whole, that theme took centre stage in both the design and launch of our home kit.
Going bold and shining a light on the ‘bright’ future of our younger players breaking through into the First Team, our away kit was launched on site at the Magic Rock taproom in Huddersfield, with the likes of Kian Harratt, Pat Jones and Ben Jackson taking part alongside Academy Player of the Year Tom Iorpenda.
Finally, the kits were brought to a close with the launch of our black third shirt, complete with its blue, red and purple trim across the neck and arms. Dubbed our ‘Kit for the Community’, we worked with our Huddersfield Town Foundation and the North Huddersfield Trust School to collaborate on a launch soundtracked by their pupils, also inviting players from the Huddersfield Town Women’s side to participate.
