It was a frustrating game for Town against Leicester City, with the Terriers spirited performance undone in the second half by what turned out by the only goal of the game.
The better side for large portions of the fixture, Town pushed without reward despite testing the away goalkeeper multiple times.
Playing off the front foot, looking to be expansive and pressing aggressively, Town created problems for Leicester across the pitch and could have done better with a number of chances which would come back to cost them.
Ultimately, the game was lost after the break when Leicester City nudged ahead in fortunate circumstances, and despite recovering well, Town couldn’t get on terms.
