Huddersfield Town Manager Neil Warnock has spoken to the press ahead of Sunday's important Sky Bet Championship fixture with Cardiff City in South Wales.

Facing off another of his former sides, Warnock spoke about all of his latest team news, what he expects from our opponents and the end of the 2022/23 season.

With just three games of the campaign remaining and this our final away fixture of the season, Warnock said:

"You only know when you come back and play whether a break has been good for you! But judging by training it has seemed to have a positive impact.

"We're looking forward to the run in. I'd have taken this situation with three games to go when we came in.

"The lads have done me proud, they're such a good group. We've got three tough games but it's in our hands, that's all we've wanted since we arrived.

"Time off if spent correctly is as important as a good training session. Time with family can be just as rewarding.

"We just need to concentrate on ourselves, I'm not looking at anyone else. I want us to stay on the front foot as we did against Sunderland.

"I think overall we deserved to win that game and had another dimension that night. The lads know what is expected of them.

"Jonathan Hogg is still struggling a little bit, but you never know with him. We've had a couple of niggles and knocks this week in training, but the good news is that we've got two goalkeepers!

"I haven't made my mind up who plays yet though.

"You realise nothing is going to go straightforward, you don't what's around the corner in the Championship - what I do know is that the players will be giving us everything when they get on the pitch.

"The fans too, wow, around 2,000 tickets sold. That's brilliant.

"I think the lads will enjoy playing in that atmosphere, but we're taking near 2,000 so we'll create some noise in that corner too!

"They will want to win, but so do we - all I want us to do is play. I won't mind the result as long as we play."
