Sharing his thoughts with HTTV after seeing his side go five games unbeaten after a home draw with Blackburn Rovers, Town Manager Neil Warnock admitted that he couldn’t ask any more of his players.
Speaking to HTTV at full-time, our Manager said:
“It’s disappointing, all of the lads heads are down in the dressing room but I’ve said they’ve nothing to be ashamed of today, they’ve give everything.
“We could have had two or three goals in the first half, we had some great chances, that’s disappointed me because there’s chances in the second half too where we’ve broke and there’s been a bad pass rather than keeping the ball.
“To concede first minute in the second half, you know you’re going to be up against it but I thought we defended really well if I’m honest and I was disappointed at the end to concede.”
