TWO BIG B TEAM GAMES IN TWO DAYS

3 April 2023

Central League game followed by friendly for Huddersfield Town B Team

- Huddersfield Town B travel to Wrexham in Central League
- Leicester host our Young Terriers in friendly
- Two games in two days for our youngsters

Huddersfield Town’s B Team have games on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, when they travel to take on Wrexham and Leicester City.

Our first game sees the Young Terriers travel to Wales to play Wrexham in the Central League on Tuesday 4 April at 1pm, with the game taking place at Nantwich Town FC (Optimum Pay Stadium, Water-Lode, Nantwich, CW5 5BS).

The Young Terriers come into this game on the back of a 7-1 home Central League win over Preston North End on Wednesday 29 March, which saw goas from six different goal scorers – Michael Stone, Scott High, Kian Harratt, Myles Bright, Tyreece Simpson and Kyle Hudlin.

Our last game against Wrexham saw us draw 1-1 at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex back in September 2022.

Town’s future Terriers currently sit third in the Central League table, whilst Wrexham sit at the bottom in seventh with one win out of their last five league games.

Spectators are welcome to attend this Central League fixture with no admission fees.

Our B Team’s second game will take place the next day on Wednesday 5 April at 12.30pm as they are straight back on the road to take on Leicester City in a friendly, with the game taking place at LCFC Training Ground (Park Hill, Seagrave, Loughborough, LE12 7NG).

This game will be a great test for our youngsters as they play the Academy of Premier League side Leicester City.
