TEAM NEWS: SUNDERLAND vs TOWN

18 April 2023

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Sunderland
- Manager Neil Warnock makes two changes to the team
- Josh Koroma and Josh Ruffels return to start

Huddersfield Town Manager Neil Warnock has made two changes to the line-up for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game against Sunderland; 7.45pm kick-off at the Stadium of Light.

Having been deployed as substitutes during Saturday’s match at Swansea City, Josh Koroma and Josh Ruffels return to the starting XI this evening. They replace Jonathan Hogg and Rarmani Edmonds-Green; REG is a substitute this evening alongside Joe Hungbo, whilst club captain Hogg is not involveddue to a knock.

The side is otherwise unchanged from the weekend fixture, which means Tom Lees captains the side in Hogg’s absence.

There’s one more change among the substitutes, where Jordan Rhodes returns to replace Tyreece Simpson.

Warnock is still without Lee Nicholls (shoulder), Ollie Turton (knee), Tino Anjorin (ankle), Kieran Phillips (hamstring), Duane Holmes (ankle), and Yuta Nakayama (Achilles).
