Cyclists complete a short day from Lichfield to Worcester
- 48.6 miles cycled today in preparation of the final leg tomorrow
- Teams set off at their own time from Lichfield
- 85 cyclists one step closer to the finish line
The Pedal for Pounds 11 riders enjoyed a shorter journey in their second day after the hard start to the trip yesterday, as they travelled to Worcester in preparation for their final ride to Cardiff on Friday.
The second day of P4P11, sponsored by Millers Oils, started with the riders coming together for breakfast in the morning before making their way out in their groups to start today’s ride.
Making the journey from Lichfield in Staffordshire, navigating around Birmingham before finishing the day in Worcester, the 85 cyclists travelled on country roads and cycle paths as they headed to their second destination.

Spirits were high as the cyclists finished the day early and were ready to fuel up for the big final day, which will see the riders set off early for the long final stretch from Worcester to Cardiff.
