Huddersfield Town’s goal scorer this evening shared his thoughts on the game and the draw against Play-Off pushing Sunderland.
After an intense 90 minutes against the Black Cats, Josh Koroma equalised for Town just before the 60th minute and secured our point on the road.
Koroma commented:
“I think the first half we were good and defended well, obviously they scored first on the counter-attack but we knew we created chances in the first half and then again in the second half.
“It’s a great point against a team that’s pushing the Play-Off spots - I think personally we deserved to win the game.
“The Gaffer has basically told me that if I don’t track back and defend then I won’t pay - obviously, I have to defend for the team, it’s not just me it’s everyone working hard from the striker to the goalkeeper.
“Again, it’s a good point against a team in the Play-Offs and we had to work hard but on the counter I think we had some great chances.”
