Goalscorers Josh Ruffels and Matty Pearson joined HTTV at full-time to discuss their feelings after a hugely important home win against promotion chasing Middlesbrough.
Having scored 20 seconds after the restart, Ruffels set the tone for a second half spell that saw Pearson net a brace to at one stage see the Terriers ahead 4-1.
Speaking to HTTV, the Ruffels said:
“We knew we were in the game, and to concede late in the first half was disappointing.
“I thought we had actually played quite well, so we had to show a bit of belief which we have done in the last few games and luckily I managed to get a goal and Matty scored a brace, so a dream second half really!”
Pearson continued, saying:
“We know how much it means to the fans and to ourselves, we want it more than anything.
“Things haven’t gone right this season, but we’re trying to put it right and we’ve got seven games to give it everything.
“Hopefully come the end of the season we get what we want.”
