Town made it three wins from three for the first time this Sky Bet Championship season on Good Friday as they defeated Watford by three goals to two in an action-packed game at Vicarage Road.
Having fallen behind midway through the first half, a first Huddersfield Town goal for Jack Rudoni saw the Terriers draw deservedly level before the break.
With the initiative firmly ours in the second period, a set play was first turned home by Matty Pearson – for his third goal in two games – before substitute Kian Harratt flicked home a Josh Koroma cross to make it three one Town.
Watford did pull one back before the end to make the final few exchanges nervous, but a late red card for the home side ultimately ended any hopes of drawing level with the final whistle blown moments later.
