Our B Team will face Brentford in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Tuesday 18 April
- Brentford vs Huddersfield Town B
- Friendly to be played behind-closed-doors
- Game gets underway at 1pm
Testing themselves in the final weeks of the season, Jon Worthington’s side will continue their run of friendlies after their 1-4 victory over Leicester City and narrow 2-1 defeat to Sunderland, as they travel to face Brentford.
Kicking off at 1pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023, the fixture will be played behind-closed-doors at Brentford’s Training Ground.
An incredible 4-1 away win over Leicester City, featuring many of our established B Team players, saw braces from Kyle Hudlin and captain Ben Midgley. The goal from our 6’9” tall forward brought his total to nine goals in 11 starts and four substitute appearances for our youngsters since arriving back with us in January.

Followed by a narrow loss 2-1 away loss to Sunderland last week, which saw our Young Terriers travel to the Academy of Light. Myles Bright equalised for Town in the game that allowed for an experienced B Team side to gain some minutes, with the likes of Etienne Camara, Brahima Diarra and Pat Jones all named in the starting line-up.
Our youngsters will be looking to bounce back from this narrow loss when they face Brentford, which ended in a 2-3 victory last time out with a goal from Josh Koroma and a brace from Kyle Hudlin off the bench in the second half.
