An injury time goal saw Town’s Women progress in the FA Women’s National League Cup.
Huddersfield Town Women progressed from the Determining Round of the FAWN League Cup.
Manager, Glen Preston, made the changes for this game with four regular starters on the bench and a couple more rested all together.
Town were awarded a penalty in the 17th minute which was calmly converted by Laura Elford as Town took the lead – but the visitors equalised before half time.
It then wasn’t until injury time that Town Women broke free again and scored the winner that allowed them to progress in the FAWN League Cup.
