TEAM NEWS: ROTHERHAM vs TOWN

15 October 2022

Mark Fotheringham makes one change to the side

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Rotherham United
- David Kasumu returns to the team after suspension
- Jack Rudoni drops to the bench

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Mark Fotheringham has made one change to the starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Rotherham United; 12.30pm kick-off at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Having missed last weekend’s 2-0 home win over Hull City due to suspension, David Kasumu comes straight back into the team. He replaces Jack Rudoni, who is a substitute this afternoon.

The line-up is otherwise unchanged from the victory over the Tigers, which means that Duane Holmes starts a sixth successive game for Town for the first time.

Danny Ward starts against one of his former clubs; he netted 19 goals in 95 appearances for the Millers between 2015 and 2017.

With Kasumu returning to the match day squad, B Team midfielder Brahima Diarra drops out of the 18 alongside Josh Ruffels, with Aaron Rowe involved with the match day squad for the first time this season.

Fotheringham is still without Matty Pearson (foot), Jonathan Hogg (calf), Tino Anjorin (illness), Will Boyle (knee), Pat Jones (hamstring), and Tyreece Simpson (knee).
