Jack Rudoni shared his reaction from the 0-0 result against Middlesbrough when he spoke to HTTV after the final whistle.

Jack started by discussing what he did to help the team after starting today’s game.

“I’ve come in and out my energy into the midfield, used my quality to try take us forward and create as well as keeping us solid in defence.”

Rudoni then touched on making his landmark career achievement as well as commenting on the teammates surrounding him in the midfield.

“I’m obviously delighted to achieve the one hundredth start in my career, it would have been better to top it off with a win but it’s a good clean sheet and we’ll take that.

“We need to improve on the training pitch to score goals.

“Etienne gets on the ball and tries to look forward and Kasumu is a box to box midfielder, he works hard and gets his tackles in - I do the same.

“I’m comfortable going into the number 10, creating and trying to score goals so we all compliment each other really well.

“We’ve just got to build on that together.”

The midfielder spoke about the shape the team played in today and how that benefitted the players.

“I think when the boss puts us into a shape in the week, we work on it and we know what we’re going to do.

“Today worked well, we looked solid, us three in midfield did well to try and hold it down.

“The shape gave us the width with Sorba and Holmes, it allowed us to press and attack.”

“I think you can see the progress we’re making, we’re training hard, we’re working hard and we’re listening to the manager.

“Today we have gone out, we haven’t won the game but we’ve kept it solid, got a clean sheet at a tough place to come - I think Middlesbrough are a better team than the table shows as well so we have done well to come here and get a point even though we’re disappointed to not get all three because we know our situation.

“We know what we need to work on and we looked solid in defence so if we keep that and we build on that as well as work on our attacking patterns then we’ll be good.”

The 21-year-old discussed the clean sheet and what the team want to do going forward.

“If you get a clean sheet you can’t lose, we always want to get the three points but we’ve just got to build on it.

“We can look around at other results but we don’t want to do that, we want to stick together and focus on us.

“Everyday at training and at every match, we are focusing on us - we’re going out there to get the three points.”
