HTAFC Women face AFC Flyde in their next league fixture

- Town Women travel across the Pennines to Lancashire rivals
- Ninth plays third at Mill Farm
- Game gets underway at 2pm

Huddersfield Town Women continue their League action against AFC Flyde on Sunday 9 October.

Huddersfield Town Women travel across to the red rose side of the Pennines as they face AFC Fylde on Sunday 9 October. On the road so far this season, Town Women have won one, lost one, and drawn two, which combined with their home record sits Town Women third in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division.

Last time the two sides met, Town Women stunned this weekend’s hosts. Putting five goals past the opposition and only conceding a late consolation, Huddersfield Town Women did the double over the Coaster last season. However, AFC Fylde did sneak above Town Women in the league table by the end of the season.

Town Women will hope to build on a largely successful start to the season. After being well beaten in the first game of the season, the team have come together better, and are since unbeaten in all competitions.

Laura Elford recorded a hat trick against AFC Fylde in the last match played, the striker also netted in Huddersfield Town Women’s game last weekend against Liverpool Feds. Currently on a run of scoring four goals in four games, our striker will be looking to once again get on the score sheet to increase her tally.

Updates will be on our socials throughout the afternoon, including live match updates at @HTAFCWomen on Twitter.
