Mark Fotheringham’s First Team will take on Greek side Olympiacos in a friendly during their training camp in Marbella.
Town will be taking on the reigning Greek champions on Thursday 1 December 2022, with kick-off at 4pm local time (3pm UK time).
The precise venue of the game is still to be confirmed, as are details for any fans wishing to attend. However, we can confirm that the game will be streamed LIVE on the Club’s YouTube channel, free of charge, for fans in the United Kingdom!
Olympiacos are currently fourth in the Greek top-flight, sitting 12 points behind leaders Panathinaikos. They are currently five unbeaten in the league, winning three of those matches.
Olympiacos’ team includes the likes of Real Madrid legends Marcelo and James Rodriguez, former Arsenal defender Sokratis, former Atletico Madrid defender Sime Vrsaljko - and former Terrier Pipa.
Their coach, Michel, is a former Marseille and Sevilla manager as well as having a previous spell at Olympiacos. The former Real Madrid player has a record of five wins, four draws and three losses since his appointment in September.
