All you need to know ahead of Town’s Sky Bet Championship game

It’s match day, so here’s everything you need to know ahead of our game against Sunderland!

Town host Sunderland at the John Smith’s Stadium this afternoon in the Sky Bet Championship.

How to watch Town vs Sunderland

Please note there is no cash turnstile for home fans.

If you want to pay on the day, you need to buy a ticket from the ticket office and take it to the relevant gate. Supporters must also have a previous booking history.

Adults - £25
65s and over - £20
18s and under - £15
Under-11s - £10

Disabled supporters should pay their relevant price class, with a companion ticket free of charge.

Tickets for wheelchair users are priced at £20, with a companion ticket free of charge.

Car parking

You can book car parking in Town’s Gasworks Street car park for home matches, priced at just £5 per car.

Roadworks on Leeds road

Town fans need to be aware of major highway improvement works on A62 Leeds Road between Huddersfield inner Ring Road/Southgate and Old Fieldhouse Lane ahead of this evening’s Sky Bet Championship game against Sunderland.

Legends Bar

Legends Bar will be open for you and your friends to meet ahead of kick-off.

The doors will be open at 5.30pm and close at 10pm.

Golden Gamble

There will be one first prize on offer up to £1,000, with a runners up prize worth 10% of the first prize. There is also a third prize of Tog24 merchandise to be won!

The winner will also get the chance on the ‘Take your Pick’ prize board including the rollover which stands at £2,000 and will rise by £200 each game if not won. The lucky winner has five minutes to get pitch side, where they will pick a number off the board to win a prize or the rollover – if you have the winning ticket do not hesitate, find your nearest steward to escort you pitchside, five minutes is not a long time!

You don’t have to be at the match to win any of the prizes, however, to play ‘Take your pick’ and be in with the chance of the rollover you do!

Give yourself a better chance and buy FIVE Golden Gamble tickets, which will also get you a free Golden ticket, giving you the chance to win two seats in the Directors box and a one course meal in the White Rose Club for Town’s game against Swansea City on Saturday 12 November; 3pm kick-off.

Tickets are available a £1 each online at – CLICK HERE to get yours! They will stay on sale until kick-off and upon purchasing your ticket, you will receive an email from the Promotions Department with your lucky numbers.

Tickets will also be available in and around the Stadium on match day. You will be able to purchase from our Golden Gamble sellers using cash, or from the Stadium Store via card

By purchasing a Golden Gamble Ticket, you will also be contributing to helping our Academy, so don’t miss out on your chance to help our Young Terriers!

For those unable to be at the John Smith’s Stadium on Wednesday, the draw will be broadcast at half time on our social media.

Fans for Foodbanks

Fans for Foodbanks is back for this evening’s fixture!

Supporters can donate non-perishable items to the bins outside the Leisure Centre entrance, inside the Club shop, and inside the Community Hub.

The initiative supports The Welcome Centre and Batley Food Bank.

Stadium Store

The Stadium Store will be open until the 7.45pm kick-off, and until after the final whistle.

This gives you plenty of time to have a browse and treat yourself before you enter the stadium in time for kick-off.

Due to this being a weekday fixture, the Championship game will also be shown live on Sky Sports red button.

If you’re unable to attend the game, you’ll be able to watch or listen along via iFollow HTAFC!

As this is a midweek game, you can buy a pass to watch a live match stream on iFollow for just £10.

Alternatively, Town fans will be able to listen to Tuesday’s game through our live commentary by purchasing either a monthly or Audio Match Pass to tune in. You can purchase a Monthly Pass for just £4.49 and an Audio Match Pass for £2.50.
