A familiar face has re-joined!

Lisa Bottomley has joined the Club as our new Group Ticket Sales Executive!

Lisa’s role has been created specifically to help the Club to build on and improve our relationships with local junior clubs, schools, colleges, and universities, as well as working with local businesses and organisations.

Lisa commented,“I’m beyond excited to start this new role at the Club. The goal is to develop deeper relationships with our local clubs, education settings and businesses, and it’s a challenge I’m raring to get started on."

This is not Lisa’s first role with the Football Club, and many of our fans may recognise Lisa from her time in the Club’s Hospitality department. Lisa has also recently worked within the Huddersfield Town Foundation as part of their Fundraising team.

Lisa continued,“The Huddersfield Junior Football League is one of the largest in England with nearly 100 clubs, and we literally have hundreds of primary schools in our catchment area, so I’m raring to go and to start to meet contacts at both.

“We already have great relationships with a lot of the Colleges in Kirklees, and I will be looking to meet and chat further with the key people within these.

“The University in Huddersfield is one of the most progressive in the country, and with nearly 20,000 students attending, is another key area for us to build our relationships with and to get students who are often new to the area to become Huddersfield Town fans.

“We also have some of the leading companies in the country on our doorstep with large numbers of employees, so I’m keen to develop further relationships with them and work with our Commercial team on ways we can get the staff in these companies and organisations to attend our upcoming fixtures.”

Another part of Lisa’s role will be to relaunch the Terrier 7’s scheme, where children in Year Two in Primary School get the chance to purchase a home shirt and match tickets for a selected game for a special price.

“The Club already does so much good work in the community, so it’s a case of building on this and making it as easy as we can for fans to watch us, and to build the next generation of support to watch the Terriers. The 7’s has worked really well in the past to help us to create and build that next generation of support, so I’m really keen to work with the Supporter Services team and the Ticket Office to taking this to another level and welcoming some new young Terriers to the Stadium.”

If you have any questions, or would like to chat with Lisa on any ways that your club, educational setting or business could get involved, please email lisa.bottomley@htafc.com.
