Head of Goalkeeping Paul Clements puts on session in Spain

Led by Head of Goalkeeping Paul Clements, senior stopper Lee Nicholls was joined by Academy players Michael Acquah, Michael Roxburgh and Josh Mazfari for a tough session in Marbella.
Using clips from real game scenarios, the group worked to improve how they would handle those situations, going through several drills together at increasing intensity to get the good habits ingrained that their coach was asking from them.
With the full Inside Training treatment, supporters are given a front row seat to the session, getting to see all of the hard work and lessons learned that ultimately help Nicholls make the match defining stops he does on a match day, with a sneak peak at the next generation of ‘keepers at the Club too.
Just one of many tough sessions for the group this week, it’s a real insight into the type of work that is typically put in throughout the week to ensure Town are in the best position possible ahead of the next game, with our next test coming in a friendly against Olympiacos in Marbella on Thursday.
