Working at the Marbella Football Centre for two sessions a day, our First Team are pushing themselves alongside our coaching staff out on the Spanish coast.
With a blend of shape work, looking at attacking patterns, tactical sessions and both maintaining and increasing fitness levels, work began just hours after getting off the plane in Marbella to make the most of our week in warm weather.
Able to utilise a mix of facilities that includes an on-site gym, specialised goalkeeping equipment and competition standard training pitches, the First Team staff have been able to replicate the level of attention to detail that would take place at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex, but have the added benefit of better weather and complete focus within camp.
Working toward the scheduled friendly against Olympiacos on Thursday afternoon, Town will have an opportunity to put these new ideas and principles being worked on into practice straight away, with a number of injured players also working hard alongside the fully fit squad to edge themselves closer to being in contention.
