A great day enjoyed by all attendees at the John Smith’s Stadium raising money for the Club’s official charity at Fizz Friday!
Fizz Friday, sponsored by The Design Bank, was a hugely successful day with lots of things to do from the point of arrival until the end of the event, from local business stalls to ABBA tribute band.
The event started with all 110 guests receiving a drink upon arrival before they browsed the pop-up stalls from local businesses – which were selling candles, jewellery, Christmas gifts, and more. In addition to these stalls, there was also a very popular ‘balloon-pop’ raffle, which was designed by Balloons by Joanna.
Following on from this, guests sat down for a two-course lunch and moved on to playing fundraising games and the auction.
To round off the day, Planet ABBA (the UK’s leading ABBA tribute band) performed and got everyone up onto their dancing feet!
The money raised will help the Foundation continue to feed children at their Early Kick-Off Breakfast Clubs and allow them to keep offering their Walking Football sessions and Mental Health Football sessions free of charge.
