Young Terriers entering competition at Third Round stage

Huddersfield Town will host either Bromley or Ipswich Town in the Third Round Proper of this season’s FA Youth Cup!
The draw was made by the Football Association this morning, with the Young Terriers entering the competition at the Third Round stage due to our status as a Sky Bet Championship club.
Bromley and Ipswich Town will play their Second Round game to determine who progresses at 1pm on Saturday 26 November 2022.
The exact date for the game is still to be confirmed, although competition rules dictate it must be played by Saturday 17 December 2022.
It will take place at the John Smith’s Stadium, and there must be a winner on the day! If scores are level over 90 minutes, the tie will go to 30 minutes of extra time. If the stalemate still isn’t broken, it will go to penalties!
Launched in 1952, the FA Youth Cup is the premier competition in Under-18 football. The Club’s best performance saw the Under-18s finish runner-up in the competition in the 1973/74 season, losing 2-1 on aggregate to Spurs over the two-legged final.
