Huddersfield Town central defender Will Boyle comments on Blackburn defeat

Despite making the first Sky Bet Championship start of his career, Huddersfield Town Academy graduate Will Boyle said he was ultimately disappointed given the result of the game.
Performing well on his return to the side, Boyle said he was content with his own individual showing but couldn’t hide his feelings after coming out on the wrong end of the one nil scoreline.
Speaking to HTTV at full-time Boyle said:
“When I left here as a kid I worked hard to get back to this level.
“All things considered I’m happy with my own performance. I’ve only played one 90 minutes since re-joining against Harrogate Town in preseason.
“I’ve been injured a couple of times, had a bang on my knee too so I’ve only trained a week or two, I’m happy with getting through that game.
“Ultimately though, we’ve been beaten. I think the performance as a team was okay to be honest, we’ve probably created as many chances as them overall.
“The overriding emotion is disappointment ultimately because we’ve come away with nothing and it’s massively frustrating.”
