Historic bakery agree Club Associate Partnership
- Hadfields the Bakery become an Associate partner of Town
- Family owned business opening new store on Leeds Road
- Ray Wilson’s granddaughter one of the employees!
Town are delighted to welcome Hadfields the Bakery as one of the Club’s Associate Partners for the 2022/23 season.
Founded in 1959, Hadfields have long been at the heart of the community, serving bread, confectionary, and lots more. A family owned business, they have 15 stores across a variety of Yorkshire areas, including Cleckheaton, Golcar, and Lindley.
Hadfields are now in the process of opening a brand new, purpose built bakery facility, complete with a training and development centre, just a football’s throw away from Huddersfield Town at the top of Leeds Road!
As if that wasn’t enough, employee Suzie Wilson is Town legend Ray Wilson’s granddaughter and a Town mega fan!
From sandwiches and pastries to fresh bread, everything Hadfields make is freshly made every day with local ingredients, love, and craft. Rachel Jones, Hadfields New Product Development Baker, has even designed a new Town gingerbread player, with all proceeds going to our official Club charity, the Huddersfield Town Foundation.
Becki and Daniel Birmingham, Directors of Hadfields the Bakery, commented:
“With both our great Huddersfield institutions having histories dating way back into the early 1900s it seems long overdue for us to officially partner.
“We’re both really excited at this partnership as we look to grow our 15 stores that are already across Cleck’Udders’Fax by a further 5 in the next 12 months.”
