BAG POLICY

To make Wembley safe for everyone, there are restrictions on what you can bring in a bag into the stadium. Here’s everything you need to know.

Each person can only bring one small bag, and it must not be bigger than A4 size:

Height 297mm (11.7 inches)
Width 210mm (8.27 inches)
Depth 210mm (8.27 inches)

Please note: this means the overall bag size. Bags that are half full and folded over to reduce their size will not be accepted.

Anyone carrying bags that do not meet the criteria above WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN.

CROWD FLAGS AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

PYROTECHNICS

In recent months, the EFL has seen a rise in pyrotechnics, flares and smoke devices being brought to stadiums around the country. Therefore, it is important to remind supporters that using these pyrotechnic devices inside a football stadium is a criminal offence that will lead to police action, prosecution and football bans.

Pyrotechnics and flares can burn at up to 2,500°C and can cause significant injuries to carriers and fellow spectators. We have also seen a number of incidents that have resulted in people experiencing breathing difficulties, distress and discomfort.

The safety of the fans coming to Wembley Stadium is of paramount importance, and security checks will be made before and during the match. Action will be taken against anyone identified to be breaching Wembley Stadium rules.

We want to ensure fans of all ages can enjoy the Play-Off Final in a safe environment.

PERSISTENT STANDING

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind all spectators that persistent standing during a match at Wembley Stadium is strictly forbidden and may result in ejection from the ground. Persistent standing not only compromises crowd safety, but also affects the matchday experience of fellow spectators, especially children and elderly people.

PITCH INCURSION

Supporters are reminded that it is against the law to enter the pitch at any time and could result in a Club ban and criminal record. More importantly it puts the safety of players, coaches, managers and match officials at risk. It is vital that those playing the game can do so safe in the knowledge that they will not be subjected to violent, threatening or anti-social behaviour going forward.

Many people have already lost the privilege of watching their team via club bans this season and further punitive action will follow for those who continue to disregard ground regulations and break the law at football matches.

We recognise that this lawlessness is being conducted by a small minority of individuals and that the majority of people attending matches are a credit to their club. However, it is not acceptable for supporters to enter the field of play at any time given the EFL’s objective is to ensure our matches remain a safe and welcoming one for all.

NO ON-STREET DRINKING

Supporters attending Sunday’s Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final between Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest at Wembley are being advised that a no street-drinking zone on Olympic Way and surrounding areas is in place, as part of the current Public Space Protection Order. Please CLICK HERE for more information on the order.

There is a wide range of bars, pubs, fan zones and restaurants available to enjoy in Brent before the game – you can find further details by CLICKING HERE.

The ban on street drinking in public will be enforced by a team of officers from Brent Council, Wembley National Stadium, Wembley Park, The Metropolitan Police Service, Transport for London and the British Transport Police with fans being required to hand over their alcoholic drinks or face a £100 fine.
