Carlos Corberán spoke to Radio Leeds’ Paul Ogden at full-time of Town’s first leg draw away to Luton Town in their Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Semi-Final.
Reflecting on the game as a whole, our Head Coach admitted that the result was fair after two very different halves of football.
“I think the result was the fair result.
“If I analyse the performance, they felt more comfortable than us in the first half, and we felt more comfortable than us in the second half.
“In football you can change a lot the emotion of the game depending on if you are able to have the ball.”
Discussing the chances that Town had, Carlos said that it was balanced between both Town and Luton.
“I didn’t see any very clear chances, but it’s true out attacks finished with a set piece situation.
“We know we are a good team attacking the set pieces, but Luton is a good team attacking and defending too.
“Unfortunately today they scored one goal from a set piece situation, that’s why in terms of the chances I think the game was balanced, but I need to review it still.
“But I think that’s why I understand the result was the fair result and balanced, because one team was better in the first half and one team was better in the second half.”
