We are delighted to announce a new Club Partnership with Kirklees Apprenticeships For All!

The Kirklees Apprenticeships for All (KAFA) project aims to promote apprenticeships across the Kirklees district, highlighting that these in-work qualifications are not solely for school leavers or those starting out on the career ladder, but they can also be an effective route to upskill and gain additional skills and knowledge to support future growth.

This fully funded support service is available to both businesses and employed individuals across the local area, who are seeking guidance and advice on their future career aspirations or workforce development.

Kirklees businesses can access support in areas such as; workforce development, workforce succession planning, current or future recruitment plans, skills gap analysis, the apprenticeship levy/the levy transfer process, managing your apprentice, plus much more.

Employed individuals can access support in areas such as; future career planning, qualification and provider options, access to an Apprentice network, wrap around support including functional skills, coaching, academic mentoring, mental health & wellbeing support and IT & digital skills development, plus much more.

The Kirklees Apprenticeships for All (KAFA) project aims to attract, grow and support apprenticeships across the Kirklees District and is part funded by the European Social Fund.

Councillor Peter McBride, Cabinet Member for Regeneration said:

"We are delighted with our partnership between the Kirklees Apprenticeships for All project and HTAFC.

"The Kirklees Apprenticeships for All project is delivered and managed by Kirklees Council, and helps local businesses plan the workforce they need for the future by using Apprenticeships to upskill existing employees of any age and professional level.

"Apprenticeships are a great way to attract diverse talent from entry to senior levels and provides opportunities for individuals to plan their career and develop their skills. In addition, it supports our ambition to develop a working population that is inclusive of everyone in our district.

"By partnering with HTAFC, we are working together to help the HTAFC fanbase, the Kirklees business community and the wider population to upskill and reach their full potential."
