A look at Huddersfield Town’s international call-ups for March 2021 fixtures

- Nine players across Huddersfield Town called-up
- Sorba Thomas and Danel Sinani once again make international sides
- Seven players across First Team and Academy called up to age groups

Here is an update on the nine international call-ups received by Huddersfield Town players during this March 2022 international break!

Another busy international period for Town players on duty for their country, here is a breakdown of how each player got on.

Sorba Thomas

Called up for the Dragons again, Sorba Thomas started and played the full 90 minutes in Wales’ friendly against Czech Republic on Tuesday 29 March.

Sorba contributed to Robert Page’s Welsh side extending their unbeaten home record to 18 games, with the side now just one game from 2022 World Cup qualification.

Danel Sinani

Danel Sinani played in both of Luxembourg’s games across the international break, featuring against Northern Ireland and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The attacker will be looking to help his side come back from the two defeats during this break when the international side come back together in June.

Brodie Spencer and Conor Falls

It was a great period for the Academy boys as they played in the Northern Ireland U19 squad’s 2-1 win over Norway in Spain on Friday 25 March.

This was then followed by the pair participating in the 1-0 win against Czech Republic in Spain on Monday 28 March.

This is great preparation for the Euro U19s qualifiers that will take place later on this year.

Nicholas Bilokapic

The keeper’ was included alongside Town teammate Jacob Chapman as Australia under-23 played against the Dutch under-19 squad away in the Netherlands, with the friendly ending in a 2-2 draw.

Currently on loan with Hartlepool, Bilokapic flew back after the international game in time to start in their fixture against Northampton Town, making his league debut.

Jacob Chapman

The B Team ‘keeper played 60 minutes for Australia’s Under-23s against Jong FC Utrecht on Thursday 24 March.

This friendly finished 1-0 to Jong FC Utrecht, but it was another valuable taste of international football for Chappers.

Scott High

The midfielder was in the starting line-up for the Scotland U21 team against Turkey on Friday 25 March, where they won by two goals to nil.

High then came off of the bench in Scotland’s fixture against Kazakhstan on Tuesday 29 March, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

Levi Colwill

The young central defender made his England U21 debut over the international break as they beat Andorra in a 4-1 victory on Friday 25 March.

The Young Lions then overcame Albania in a 2-0 win, which Colwill was once again in the starting line-up for.

Tino Anjorin

Called up to the England U20s squad over the international break, the young Chelsea loanee didn’t feature as the side overcame Germany 3-1 at the Colchester Community Stadium.
