Two Academy sides in action on Saturday 2 April 2022

- U19s travel to Liverpool’s training ground
- U17s travel to Scunthorpe
It’s a double match day for Huddersfield Town’s Young Terriers on Saturday 2 April 2022!
Town’s Under-19s will be coached by B Team Coach Jon Worthington when they travel to Liverpool for an 11am kick-off.
The Young Terriers go into the game off the back of a 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers, which saw a number of the U19 players step up to play alongside the B Team.
The two sides met earlier in the season, with the Under-19s walking away 3-1 winners back in October 2021 thanks to a Sean Wilson own goal, alongside goals from Ben Midgley and Brahima Diarra.

The game will take place at Liverpool’s Academy (The Liverpool Way, Kirkby, Liverpool, L33 7ED) – and fans are able to attend from 10.30am!
Meanwhile, George Danaher and Michael Tonge will coach Town’s Under-17s squad away at Scunthorpe United.
The young players have been working on how to beat a deep block and different attacking combinations in order to help them break teams down. As well as this, they have been continuing to demonstrate the Terrier Identity out of possession with positive reactive pressure all over the pitch.
The coaches have seen a real improvement over recent weeks as the players have been given more ownership over the game plans.
The game against Scunthorpe United provides another opportunity for Town’s youngsters to put the above into practice.
The 11am kick-off will take place at Sands Venue Stadium (Jack Brownsword Way, Scunthorpe, DN15 8TD).
