Head Coach Carlos Corberán says he knows that Huddersfield Town’s game against West Bromwich Albion will demand the best from his side.

The Terriers return to Sky Bet Championship action on Friday 11 March 2022 when they travel to the Hawthorns to take on the Baggies.

Speaking to the press in his virtual press conference, Carlos discussed what he expects from Town’s opponents.

“They’re a different team to the team that we faced earlier in the season, but with the same players, and last year, a lot of those players were competing in the Premier League.

“Their last win against Hull City will make them more dangerous because they’ll want to keep going and get something from the Championship this season.

“I know that the players they have are very competitive and good players.

“We’ll be playing against a team with very strong players and a very experienced coach.

“It’s going to demand the best from us, and so our main focus has to be competing better than we did against Nottingham Forest.”

Town come into the game following their Emirates FA Cup exit to Nottingham Forest, a game Town’s Head Coach says they can’t dwell on.

“We need to manage the feeling of the defeat.

“The day after is always hard, especially in a game like that where we know the opportunity to keep going in the cup.

“Now that we’re eliminated, we need to assimilate this and use it to help us improve in all the ways that we can.”

Town’s Head Coach also provided the latest injury news.

“Levi Colwill is going to train today.

“He trained yesterday as well, so he will be one of the available options.

“Josh Koroma will train today - we’ll see how he feels after.

“We expect to have Lewis O’Brien involved in today’s training.

“Depending on how he trains, he will be an option.

“The rest of my players are all available – there are no new concerns.”
