Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán says he knows that Peterborough United will bring a competitive game with them when they travel to the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday 4 March 2022.

Speaking to the press in his virtual press conference, Carlos discussed what he expects from Peterborough.

“We know that against Peterborough we need to have a strong mentality because it’s going to be a very competitive game.

“In the Emirates FA Cup against Manchester City, City couldn’t score until the 60th minute.

“That shows how Peterborough were competing. Every team in the Championship is a competitive team.

“I know Grant McCann from when he was at Hull, so I can image how Peterborough will play on Friday.

“McCann has a clear style and gets very positive results against good teams – when he was at Hull City, they beat AFC Bournemouth and Blackpool. It’s going to be a challenging game.”

Town’s Head Coach also provided the latest injury news.

“We expect to have all our squad ready for tomorrow.

“We’ll see how today’s training session goes, but it’s always positive when you have all your squad.

“Tino Anjorin has been playing well with the group.

“I will consider him as one more option on Friday.

“It’s about knowing that his conditions are different to other players because he has had a long-term injury, and understanding his needs.

“Pipa has completed the week normally.

“He’ll be another option that I can pick from for tomorrow’s game.

“Tom Lees is fine, he’s been training during the week.

“He’s another player that will be an option for tomorrow.”
